ACW was closed during WW II. until 1945 when Howard Montague, Clarence's grandson, reopened the factory. Soon he was joined by other members of the family. Fires and floods threatened ACW survival many times. The flood of 1965 created a new opportunity. An SBA loan helped to rebuild a small warehouse for distribution of greenhouse supplies.

Distribution of a complete line of greenhouse, nursery, landscape and garden center supplies became the main focus of ACW. We replaced our manufacturing facility with a 37,000 sf. warehouse. We brought in experts in all areas of greenhouses and growing to serve our customers. Most of these people are still employed with us. We constantly draw on their experience and knowledge.

This year brings new challenges and expectations. The management of Ron Eberly and R. Montague, great grandsons of Clarence, along with dedicated employees strive for the highest service levels.
