- Bending Radi - Can be readily cold formed. Minimum bending radius is 13 feet.
- Installation Cutting - Cut GREEN-LITE corrugated sheet with shears, razor knife, or circular saw with fine tooth blade. Make sure the sheet is held securely in place while cutting to avoid vibrations and / or surface streaks.
- Drilling - It is important to allow for thermal expansion and contraction when drilling holes. Hole diameter should be drilled 5/64" larger than the diameter of the fastener.
- Fastening - Fastening should be secured without excessive tension which would deform the corrugated sheet. In roofing applications, fastening is best through the crest of the material (Figures 1 & 2). For side walls, fastening would be through the valleys (Figure 3). ROOFLITE™ corrugated sheet is firmly fixed when fastened at every third corrugation and every second corrugation at the ridge and gutter. At the ridge and gutter, material should be fastened through the valleys (Figure 4).
- Overlapping - When joining sheets, an overlap of 1 corrugation is recommended. The upper sheet in the overlap should be upwind (Figure 1). If overlap is required in ths sheet length, we recommend a 6" overlap.
- Purlin - Recommended purlin spacing is 36" at the ridge and gutter and 48" at the mid spans (Figure 5).
- Cleaning and Maintenance - After installation, wash GREEN - LITE corrugated polycarbonate sheet when necessary with neutral soap or detergent in warm water, using a sponge or soft cloth. Spots of fresh varnish or grease may be removed with isopropyl alcohol, followed by a gentle washing using a soft cloth or sponge.
- Storage - GREEN - LITE corrugated sheet should be stacked on a flat surface and protected from the sun's direct rays.
