American Clay will be distributing Nature Life Organic Soil Conditioner. This product is made from cotton burrs. It is 100% organic and helps to conserve water when mixed properly into the soil. Nature Life Organic Soil Conditioner is packaged in 3 cu foot loose fill bags. This product is also available with a sulfur additive to aid in acidifying higher ph soils. Tests done by the University of Texas A & M have shown that this product reduces soil compaction, increases water retention, and helps water to penetrate deeper in the soil. It also is excellent in breaking up clay type soils. This product will in be in stock the first week of April. Please call for more information.
As we are all aware, we will be facing some drought conditions this year, even with our recent snowstorm. American Clay will be offering some suggestions on ways to help ease these costs and be more efficient. One way to help overcome these effects is to use controlled release fertilizers such as Osmocote, along with pre-emergent herbicides. We offer the controlled release fertilizers in many different formulas and various time releases. (3 to 4, 5 to 6, 8 to 9, and 12 to 14 months). Please call with any questions.
