American Clay Works is having an open house-mini trade show on August 14, 2003 (Thursday), at the American Clay location 857 Bryant St., Denver, Co. The Trade show will run from 9 am to 4 pm. Lunch will be served, hamburgers , hot dogs and more will be served by John, Gary, Dave, Len and Ron. Vendors attending will be T.O. Plastics, ITML Inc., Nursery Supply Co., Wadsworth Controls Inc., Nexus Greenhouse Corp., Conrad Fafard Inc., Western Pulp Products, Becker Underwood Inc., Pak Unlimited, AT Plastics and The Scotts Co. This will be a product booking show, so additional trade show discounts will apply. In addition to all this, American Clay will be donating 5% of the total sales generated at the open house to the CNREF and CFF foundation funds. So plan to drop by August 14th, see some new items in the container industry, have lunch , book your orders and save some $$$.
 
Whitmire Research will be introducing a new total release product soon.  Orthene / Tame in a 16 oz total release cannister. Orthene / Tame combination is a excellent control for aphids, white fly, spider mite and thrip and labeled for use in greenhouses. The REI is 24 hrs and one can treats 3000 sf. Look for Tame / Orthene in the near future.
 
T.O. Plastics has obtained the plug flat and pro tray molds from TLC Polyform. Many of these items have been improved and will be available in the fall of 2003. T.O. Plastics  should have representative samples of the plug and pro tray lines, at our open house.
 
The Western Pulp early order program is out, the booking period is June 15, 2003 to July 31, 2003. American Clay and Western Pulp have been offering this program for over 20 years.
