Many of you may not know that Len Strock, "Lenny", has had a serious medical operation. Lenny is still in the hospital and at this time we do not have a release date. We do not know how long Lenny will be recovering. We know your thoughts and prayers will be with Lenny and his family during this stressful time. If you choose to send cards etc. please send them to American Clay and we will forward all correspondence to Lenny. Thank You.
 
Early order for the 2004 season is here. Plastic prices have somewhat stabilized so our programs on containers is in full swing. ITML, Nursery Supply and T.O. Plastics all offer an early order programs. American Clay combines these fine vendors into a single program resulting in discounted pricing and some extended payment terms. Early order programs for Fafard potting soils and peat moss is also in affect. Some peat moss prices have gone up due to the poor harvest in eastern Canada in 2003. They have too much water and we dont have enough.
 
We feel the demand for plant material, annual, perennial, trees and shrubs will be very high, in 2004, due primarily to the building boom in both residential and commercial happening now in Metro Denver. Many consumers will be looking to replace plants damaged by the March snow storm and the drought. We are looking forward to a strong 2004 and hope to play a major role in you plans for 2004.
