Mark your calendars, August 12th, 2005, for the American Clay Open House, to be held here at our warehouse. We are going to have 15 vendors on site, covering a wide area of products. Manufacture representatives from containers to coverings, greenhouse equipment, irrigation, chemicals, soils and shade cloths. Some vendors and American Clay are offering extra discounts and extended payment terms. Last year we introduced the new regulations governing weights and measures on containers. Presently there is a lot of confusion about this issue. We are bringing the executive director of NAHSA, Talbot Gee, here to give an update and explanation of these regulations. We are setting up an actual display of what will be required. All scenarios will be covered, by showing what responsibilities you as a retailer or grower is to this new set of rules. In addition American Clay would like to offer a label printing service; your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated by calling us prior to the open house. During the summer and fall months of the year, American Clay Works has an extra 24 foot Dry Van with lift gate available for rent with a driver.  Our rates for rental are $20 per hour and 30¢ per mile.  Please call to schedule a rental.
 
Now is the time to book white overwinter polyfilm. Standard mill thickness of 3 mill and 5 mill are available. The Western Pulp early order is now on, receive extra discounts and extended terms on pulp containers. These containers have grown in popularity over the years especially as a bedding plant or flower container. Both programs are on now, so contact American Clay for pricing and more info on both programs.
