August 2006
Our business is winding down from spring sales and gearing up for fall sales. Consumer confidence is high concerning water issues and the weather was very cooperative. The results, a good spring selling season, and it will continue into the fall. American Clay wants to kick off the fall season by inviting you to our annual Open House on Thursday, August 10, 2006. The event is held here at American Clay Works on 857 Bryant Street. We are providing a catered lunch and refreshments. Please R.S.V.P. Their will be 15 vendors present displaying new items for next year. We will have a new side roll up curtain system on display for both manual and automatic applications. Also on display will be two new lines of decorative containers available in fiberglass, plastic and composite materials that are priced comparably with clay. We will also be discussing industry trends. Sales representatives with national insight will be discussing future directions of containers, covering material, soil media and greenhouse structures. The open house will be informative and fun. We also have a number of prizes to give away so plan to be here. We are looking forward to the 2006 Open House.
Now is the time to place your orders for containers that will require weights and measures. The addition of the label adds time to the production process. Do not wait too long if you want your containers in time for planting. Remember all containers require a label stating container volume and declaration of responsibility.
Over the years in building greenhouses we have accumulated a variety of structural steel like bows, trusses and columns. We would like to get it out of our warehouse, so we are selling it at reduced prices. If you can use it call us and save $$$.
