The American Clay Open House is Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the American Clay Warehouse. We will have catered food and refreshments, door prizes and much more. This year we will have a new display of Rush creek composite and plastic planters. The line sold well in 2007 and we have increased the line by adding new colors and new container shapes. We will also have a new line of plant display labels. These labels are large and can accommodate signs or have a black board surface so you can write pricing information etc. It is great for farmers markets or displaying a large blocks of plants. We will also have a new rattan basket and a line of “bio containers”. These biological pots or “green pots” are true plantable containers, available in 4”, 4.5” and 6” size. The unique feature about the bio pots is they have carrying tray for each size. This past year we had a number of phone calls concerning bio containers and we think this is the answer. We are also going to have a short presentation on our industry and some of the benefits horticulture provides to society. Also, I have asked some of our vendors to give a short presentation on what’s new in their product lines.
