Shortages: American Clay Works is committed to keeping our customers informed. This is not intended to be alarmist, it is intended to keep you informed of the facts. Increased ethanol production domestically and increased agricultural production in foreign countries are driving these shortages. Currently, there is a shortage of the following items; Glyphosate, Vermiculite, Nitrate Nitrogen and Potassium. The later two will affect the price of fertilizer. As demand in our country and world wide increases the price of fertilizer will increase. We currently have stock in both water soluble and CRF (Controlled Release Fertilizer) at the price prior to the increase. Glyphosate (Round Up), another product in short supply has already taken a significant increase. The good news is American Clay has purchased several pallets of 2.5 gallon containers prior to the increase, so take advantage of this while supplies last.

New products: Produece is a combination of Glyphosate (Round Up) and Prodiamine. Prodiamine, is a very effective pre emergent for both grasses and broadleaf weeds. Produece is both a post and pre-emergent herbicide. This liquid is available in a 64 oz container. We did purchase this product before the price increase on Glyphosate. We recently received a decrease in freight on several truckloads of Fafard Peat Moss in 3.8cf compressed bales. While quantities last, we will be reducing the price on this item. Also, a recent order of 11” Green ITML Hanging Baskets came in and we received more than we had expected. We will be reducing the price of these baskets while this supply lasts. For Sale: 84672sf of IBG Arch II greenhouse, includes Dynaglass, 48 fans, shutters, double row vents, motors, CO2 generators and boilers. Structure can be disassembled and shipped anywhere in the U.S. Boilers and structure has been well maintained.
